One question a day, two private answers, one reveal. You cannot read your partner’s answer until you have written your own, which is what keeps it honest. It takes two minutes and it works across any time zone: answer at breakfast, they answer at their breakfast.

The questions run from light (“What is the best thing you ate this week?”) to the kind you would not think to ask on a Tuesday. Playing on consecutive days builds a streak you can see on the scoreboard.

How to play

  1. 1Pick Question of the day in your room. One question appears for both of you.
  2. 2Write your answer. Nobody sees it yet.
  3. 3When both answers are in, they flip over together.
  4. 4Come back tomorrow for the next one. Questions do not repeat for a month.

Why couples like it

  • It is the smallest possible ritual, and rituals are what long distance relationships run on.
  • Private answers first means you get what they actually think, not a reaction to what you wrote.
  • Two minutes. It survives busy weeks.

Tips

  • Answer in full sentences. The reveal is better when there is something to react to.
  • Screenshot the ones you want to keep; the room keeps a history too.
  • Pair it with Would you rather on the days you want something lighter.

Questions

Can we answer at different times?
Yes. Each of you answers whenever you like; the answers are revealed once both are in.
How many questions are there?
Enough that a room will not see the same one twice in a month of daily play, and the pool keeps growing.
Does it work as a long distance couple game?
It was made for exactly that: two phones, two time zones, one question.

Ready when you are

Start a room, send the link, and Question is queued for the moment they join.
